Field Trip to the FGCU food forest & nature trail

Phillip's thoughts: I enjoyed seeing the food forest and thought it was cool that something like that could be achieved by being completley student run but I felt like most of the rest of the field trip was long and boring due to the lack of commentary.

Bailey's thoughts: The field trip was very insightful, it was a little unorganized. The food forest was cool. The walk was entertaining.
Tyler's thoughts: I thought the field trip was a good concept and idea. I did not enjoy how it was executed. The food forest was very interesting but needs some serious organization. Overall I give the field trip a 5 out of 10.

Jamie's thoughts: The best part of the field trip was the food forest. I had no idea Florida Gulf Coast University had a food forest until I enrolled into the colloquium course. I find it very interesting that we are one of the very few universities to have a food forest. I love the fact that it is ran by students as well. However, I was hoping our tour guide would give us a little more information on the food forest. I felt like the nature trail tour was pointless due to the fact that we just kind of strolled through it without any information. Overall, I thought the field trip was a little unorganized.
